Professor Paik has served as an Associate Editor and Editorial Board member for numerous leading neuroscience journals, including Science Advances.

Professor Paik was also appointed as a KAIST Singularity Professor in 2021, KAIST Endowed Chair Professor in 2026 and has been serving as a President of the Korean Society of Computational Neuroscience (CBrain), steering the society’s vision and growth.

Professor Se-Bum Paik, from the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences, was appointed Associate Editor of the prestigious journal Science Advances on March 1, 2025.

Professor Paik participates in the review and editing of research papers in the Neuroscience field and plays an important role in spreading important scientific findings to researchers around the world.
